The UK airline to provide complimentary high-speed in-flight connectivity through space-based partnership

Flyers flying with the airline are set to use quick internet onboard at no cost due to a new agreement from the billionaire's space firm.

Complimentary plus Fast Wifi for All

The airline announced that this no-cost, “fast and dependable” wifi offering through Starlink is set to be available to travelers flying economy, premium economy, or premium cabins from next month.

Widespread Rollout Over Various Airlines

The holding company of the airline, IAG, stated it had reached an deal involving Starlink to offer connectivity coverage across more than 500 planes operated by the group's airlines, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.

Smooth Internet from Boarding through Arrival

The airline explained that the introduction for this technology formed part of a £7bn “upgrade” initiative and would offer smooth wifi service for flyers starting at boarding through landing, including when they are flying over seas or remote regions.
